1. Where did you get your inspiration for modeling from?
Growing up I have always been inspired by beautiful, pleasing aesthetics, whether it be in art, people, nature or fashion. As a young girl I often played with Barbie dolls, fascinated with their diversity and fabulous life. On from there we I have always gawked at various fashion shows, accompanied my mom to trips to Nordstrom, tried on various outfits while inspecting myself in front of the mirror admiring the way the clothes fit on me, as I grew older I noticed how I seemed to look down on my peers, not in bad sense, but in the sense I was just tall. From there on out, I was constantly told by my friends about how tall and pleasing my appearance was and the push was always, “you should model” so I did.

2. Did you want to pursue modeling growing up?
Initially,it never even crossed my mind as I was mostly a tomboy, watched ninja turtles, did sports, took karate class, so that wasn’t even on my mind, it wasn’t until I started getting to my teenage years did the passion and aspiration begin to really unfold and become a goal and career of mine.

3. What is the best and worst thing about modeling?
Most definitely the worst aspect of modeling is the uncertainty, there are no guarantees for how many jobs you will be given, considered, or picked for. Also the fact that castings (pre covid) used to take anywhere from 1 to 3 hrs, often involving long waits in line. Truth be told the best agent in your modeling career will be yourself and the standards of excellence you set for your own goals. Now to a more positive side, perhaps the best part of modeling is seeing the fruits of your labor, nothing is better than seeing your published, printed pretty face displayed across various magazine covers on newsstands, billboards, and all over notoriety, the congratulations, and the feeling that you have MADE it!

4. What advice would you give someone who wants to pursue this glamorous career of modeling?
Best advice I can give is, (as much of a cliche as this sounds) don’t give up! This definitely is not easy and not always a smooth journey, but pursue, persist and persevere!

5. What are your goals as a model?
My ultimate goals as a model is to sign with a large agency, such as Wilhelmina, Ford, IMG or the like, continue securing various covers, publications, etc and finally brand myself as a top model/influencer socialite, similar to Kim K but more into the fashion model category.

6. How do you define beauty?
The definition of beauty an be quite tricky as the popular saying goes “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” however, I have found beauty occurs when something, anything of that matter is in perfect, aesthetic balance and symmetry, it is smooth, undisturbed and elegantly put together in flawless execution, perhaps that is a bit an of advanced definition, but to me I always like to think outside the box, what can I say?

7. How old were you when you started modeling?
I started modeling when I was 19 years old.

8. How has your social media helped your modeling career?
Social media has been the biggest ally and key in my modeling career! Your social media is equivalent to your work resume in the modeling world! Simply put, a proper social media profile showcases you, your fashion sense, lifestyle, vibe, publications, portfolios, events you have attended, etc all which curate your image and persona as a model and what you can bring to the modeling world. Not only that, but your social media helps you connect and network with like-minded individuals who are common interests and are in the same field (modeling) these connections can help upgrade your portfolio, make you aware of castings, events, and opportunities you might not have otherwise been made aware of, also, your peers can show case you on their social media, giving you a wide audience and exposure and giving you different chances to shine.

9. What has been your favorite thing about modeling so far?
Perhaps my most favorite component of modeling has been the feeling of empowerment and achievement I have been able to enjoy and savor, once you see what your dedication, ambition, and tenacity can give you you know the sky’s the limit and you can have anything you want in this life! My entire modeling career I have been my own agent, gotten my own cover, campaigns, shoots and fashion shows and I couldn’t be more proud of myself.

10. Any Shoutouts?
Shoutout to this girl named Anna Alimani, she really is one of a kind, failure isn’t an option for her.
